Exurgo GameBoard
A strategic, ancient Mesopotamian-inspired board game came to fruition with Exurgo. Exurgo, meaning “to rise,” also rises in construction and difficulty as the game progresses. Its crude, irregular geometric typeface captures the indigenous style and is supported by similar tribal images. This wooden medium elevates the board game from traditional plastic or cardboard games and is lighter than stone.

Exurgo Gameboard
Exurgo (Latin for to rise) Gameboard Exurgo is a conceptual gameboard that takes game play aspects of checkers and chess. Players must try to reach the top of the game board. This version of the game is a high-end model made of wood. The graphics are Mesoamerican-inspired with four four “animal” kingdoms/players.
